UKU Event Announcements
This newsletter is intended to provide a simple stream of information about UKU events. At the point of launch, the intention is that this will provide a definitive source of the most important information relating to UKU events: - dates - registration processes - news updates in the weeks preceding an event (e.g. schedule released, etc)

Update 16th Feb:
Please see below for an update on definite and provisional dates and venues for outdoors competitions in 2017. All of the dates below are fixed. Venues in bold are confirmed. All other venues are provisional, so please do not make any travel plans or book accomodation based upon them! As you will see we are still working on a few gaps. We do understand that early confirmation is important and we are working on it.
* Please note that in the Open division we are making some changes in 2017 to accommodate all the teams that usually want to enter. At OWT2 and OWT3, there will be a second venue in a different location to accommodate some of the B&C division teams. Our goal is to have venues and a competition structure that will reduce travel times for most of the teams attending that second venue. In the information below we are assuming that the events labelled B-"north" and B-"south" will cater for all C-Tour teams as well as B-Tour teams.
Note also that the following dates have now been fixed:
OWT3 15-16 July
Regionals (all divisions) 29-30 July
Congratulations to the University of St Andrews, the new BUCS Men's Indoor Champions. Victory in the final over Sussex (who had won their prior matchup on Saturday) finally wrested the title from Birmingham's dynasty of champions.
In Division 2, Durham seemed to improve with each passing game on Sunday, finally pulling out a comfortable 8-2 win in the final despite closer games in earlier rounds.
After an unprecedented number of entries to CXIN 2016/17 - 35 teams filled the form - we've successfully extended our booking at the Derby Arena on the Saturday evening, meaning we can accommodate 4 more teams (so 28 total). Saturday will now run from approx 9am-830pm, so we'll need to split the day into morning/afternoon so that no one team plays the whole day.
Entries close tomorrow (2nd Feb) for Club Open Indoor Nationals.
We are pleased to now open entries for our Club Mixed Indoor Nationals, to be held in Derby on the 4/5 March.
Further details can be found on the event page.
We are pleased to now release the Info Pack and schedule for this weekend. Apologies for the delay. Some teams had been struggling to finalise their arrangements and hence we couldn't confirm the number of teams - which as you can imagine makes scheduling difficult!
The schedule is now final.
