WUGC 2008 - August 5th.

After another tough day's play out in Vancouver, the GB teams are even closer to their final set of games which will determine their finishing positions.

The GB Open Junior team won their first game in an impressive win over the French team whilst the Junior Women still remain winless in their very competitive league. The GB Masters lost a difficult game against the NZ team which leaves them with an incredibly hard last day playing both the Canadian and USA teams. The GB Mixed team had a good win over Chinese Taipei and this leaves them with a big game against the Americans this morning. The GB Women had two games yesterday, losing to Canada in the morning and coming back strongly to beat Germany in the afternoon. This leaves them in a strong position within their pool. The GB Open team won their early game against the Venezuelan team but their big game of the day was against Australia which they closely lost. Their final pool contains Japan and Canada which will be a tough test for them but one they will relish.

All upcoming fixtures and results can be found on the official site.
