Ultimate is a fun and fast-paced team sport. It has similarities to other invasion sports but with some unique features. Whether you’re discovering Ultimate for the first time, or you’re already hooked, we’re here to help you on your Ultimate journey.
What makes Ultimate unique?
Ultimate is played with a flying disc. The Discraft UltraStar is the official disc of UK Ultimate. Check out our WATCH page to see the disc in action!
Ultimate is played in 3 divisions - Open, Women’s and Mixed. At some levels Mixed is the main format (the World Games for example).
There are no referees, and this works! The players are responsible for administering and upholding the rules and maintaining the Spirit of the Game.
