Venue:
Imperial College Sports Ground, Sipson Ln, Harlington, Hayes UB3 5EH
Parking at Imperial College Sports Ground is pretty limited so we are asking teams to help us out travel by public transport where possible or try and maximise carsharing. We also generally want to reduce the number of cars on the road travelling to our tournaments and we hope teams can get behind this!
PLEASE NOTE - THIS VENUE IS NOW WITHIN THE ULEZ ZONE - more info here. This may make it more expensive for you to drive to the venue.
The fields are only a 45 minute journey on the Elizabeth line from London Paddington Station and the Piccadilly Line from King's Cross St. Pancras Station, stopping at Hayes and Harlington and Hatton Cross station respectively. From here it is a 10 minute bus journey or 30 minute walk to Imperial College Sports ground.
If you can get to an Elizabeth Line station (E.G. players in London and Reading) or a Piccadilly Line station (E.G. players in London), please consider these options to reduce the number of cars driving to the tournament.
If you are able to cycle to the venue, there is plenty of space for you to safely lock your bike.
If you are able to get to Heathrow Airport via the bus or train, there are good local buses that can get you to the venue in about 20 minutes. There are direct buses to Heathrow from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Southampton, Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Brighton and Nottingham. Information about these buses can be found here.
If you are coming from outside of London and you are not able to use public transport, please try and maximise use of space in cars as much as possible.
There is additional street parking along Sipson Lane but this is also limited and we cannot guarantee what will be available along this road or how close. It is possible that you may not be able to park close to the venue and you may need to allow a bit more time to allow for a 5/10 minute walk to the venue.
There are also food shops within easy walking distance of the venue.

Safety
KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - gaps between the pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams. Certain sidelines are for players only.
Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.
At this venue, you will need to cross a road to access the fields from the car park/toilet. We would like to remind our players to be careful when doing so.
Please take off your jewellery / watch / Fitbit, etc - We urge players to follow rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate.
-
Spirit scores are entered using online forms (you’ll find the link using the button at the top of this page).
You should be able to access the form on a smartphone. If you have any issues please go to the TD desk.
Please aim to enter your scores after each game or by the end of play on each day. Scores submitted after midnight on the last day of the event are unlikely to be included in the Spirit data.
