Event details:
Hive presents our first tournament, Swarm, which will be one of a few events we hope to run this year.
Swarm will be held on February 19th and 20th. It's a great chance for university teams to warm up for mixed university nationals or for club teams to warm up mixed club nationals. It will be held at Hertfordshire Sports Village, which has 3 springboard indoor courts and a café onsite. Teams will play 10 games over the weekend.
Covid-19:
Full instructions will follow closer to the event but we do know that everyone will be required to wear masks in the venue at all times, except if you are eating or playing. It is also very likely that we'll ask players to do an LFT prior to the event and not come if they test positive.
Transport:
The venue has a huge car park.
The best public transport route is probably a train to Hatfield station and then a bus or cab to the venue, buses are less frequent on Sundays.
No accommodation will be offered by us, there are fairly priced hotels close by.
