UKU Club Mixed Indoor Nationals [CXIN] 2022


UKU Club Mixed Indoor Nationals (CXIN) will be held at Derby Arena. This venue has a hardcourt surface.

    Please report to the TD desk on arrival, there won’t be a separate captain’s meeting. Please make sure all bags and belongings are kept away from the playing areas at all times.

    Participants should fine they can access the venue from approx. 8am but may not have access to the sports hall until closer to the start of play.

    Parking: There is a Derby game on Saturday. After 10am you may be directed to other nearby parking. Teams arriving before 10am will probably be able to park in the venue car park for the usual £3/day fee. Parking on Sunday is expected to be free, but may be £3/day.

  • Please remember that it is never worth endangering yourself or others to get the disc. You must remain aware of other players and your surroundings.

    DO NOT THROW ANYWHERE NEAR THE CYCLING TRACK. There are huge safety risks if a disc gets on to the velodrome track, so please keep throwing limited to dedicated areas only or outside.

    KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - Gaps in between pitches are for safety reasons. Only players playing in the games on pitch can stand on the sidelines in between the pitches, and please do not fill them with items such as kit/bags/discs. Please use other areas to keep your belongings and to watch the games.

    THE PLAYING AREA - Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.

    FIRST AID will be available near TD desk.

    Please put any bags of ice into a bin afterwards! They cause dangerous damp patches when melted.

  • Spirit scores are entered using this online form.

    You should be able to access the form on a smartphone. If your team does not have access to a smartphone or you have any issues, facilities may be available at the TD desk to input your scores.

    Please enter your scores promptly after your games, and at the latest before midnight on on the last day of the event. Scores submitted after this time will not be included. For more information from the Spirit of the Game committee, please look here.

    Please note, the SOTG winner is often awarded at the end of play on the last day of the event.

    Please bear in mind that, in the current circumstances, our schedules remain subject to change if teams are forced to withdraw, and if their withdrawal has a substantial impact on the schedule for one or more other teams.

  • Do NOT take food or drink into the hall itself, other than water in a properly sealed container.

    There are lots of alternatives within walking distance. However, if you’re bringing your own food or drink on site then please do not consume it in the café area as this seating is for café customers only.

    Please make sure that you put all of your rubbish in the bins provided. There will be plenty around so don’t leave it all lying around! Alternatively, the TD will have bin bags at the TD desk if you need one -just ask.

  • CXIN ENTRIES OPEN: 9th February - 23rd February

    All UKU events are entered by club administrators via their membership profile.

    Only teams that qualified through the Club Mixed Indoor Qualifier tournaments are eligible to enter. This is NEW for 2021-22. Only 16 teams will attend based on results at the qualification events held in January and February 2022.

    If you are NOT taking your Nationals qualification spot you must let us know by TUESDAY 8th February otherwise you will still be liable to pay the Nationals team entry fee.
