UKU / BUCS University Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Nationals (UMWON) 2022 will be held at the Riverside Sports Complex in Nottingham (please scroll down for the pitch map).

Entries
Entries for UMWON are combined with entry into the BUCS league for both the Men's & Women's divisions. Please see here for more information about qualification.

Rosters
All the teams competing at any of the UMWON events must make sure that they enter the ROSTER EVENT on the JustGo website by Sunday 3rd April.
ALL TEAMS taking part in the UMWON competitions need to ensure that the team rosters are up to date on the system BEFORE Saturday morning of the event, with all players having up-to-date full membership for the event. Any issues, please email admin@ukultimate.com.
Student ID
All teams should remind all your players to have their student ID card with them at the event too as random checks will be carried out

NO DOGS - please tell all friends and family planning to come along and watch that dogs are NOT permitted on site at the fields.
ON ARRIVAL - report to the TD Desk on arrival to receive any important notices & to collect your team disc.
There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival.
SHOWERS & TOILETS - changing rooms, showers and toilets will be located in the Sports Centre. Signs will indicate which are male and female.
CAR PARKING - There will be plenty of parking on site. Coaches need to park on the gravel area. Please park responsibly and follow the direction of the marshals.
TAXIS - Please use the Powerleague car park at the north side of the playing fields, this is on Thane Road, NG7 2TG. Please do NOT direct taxis to the tournament site itself – it’s a single-track road, and taxis coming out will block the whole road for cars coming in.

Medical Support
There will be an emergency medical team on site, located near the TD desk (this will be in the large marquee).
If you are unable to find them, please speak to the TD as the medical team will be contactable via radio throughout the weekend.

Please note - except in the case of an emergency where the medical team deems it necessary to take a player to hospital in the ambulance, we are not able to offer the facility of driving players to the hospital, nor sending a volunteer to look after and stay with them.
Safety
KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - Gaps in between pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams. Certain sidelines are for players ONLY so keep an eye out on where you sit!
THE PLAYING AREA - Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.
TAKE OFF YOUR WATCH/FITBIT/ JEWELLERY - We urge players to adhere to rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate.

Spirit scores are entered using an online form.
Please enter your scores promptly after your games, and at the latest before midnight on on the last day of the event. Scores submitted after this time will not be included. For more information from the Spirit of the Game committee, please look here.
Please note, the SOTG winner is often awarded at the end of play on the last day of the event.
