2023-24 SOTG results and UKU SOTG Committee

Last weekend (14-15 Sept) saw the last UKU event of the year, Mixed Beach Nationals. All Spirit of the Game Results (SOTG) from UKU events are available on the results website.

In 2022 we took a decision to move away from a SOTG 'winner' for each event to help teams and clubs see SOTG as something long-term. We introduced a “Spirit of the Game - Club of the Year” award announced around International SOTG day in December.

To calculate scores we combine data across the three divisions (Mixed, Open and Women’s) and teams within a club, for events Indoors, Outdoors and Beach. This season we intend also to include in the data a number of international events attended by UK club teams.

If you are interested in data management and manipulation, in SOTG, in the work done by the UKU SOTG committee, or perhaps you have an idea for a project or want to help us do more around SOTG please contact sotg-committee@ukultimate.com. We need people who are able to commit some time and who would enjoy being part of the small group of people that currently manage SOTG.
