Applications to manage and coach U17 & U20 GB teams are open

With enormous thanks to the managers and coaches who led our U20 & U17 squads through a really challenging 2022, we are now inviting applications to a number of vacant volunteer positions supporting those squads in 2023-24 - please see below.

Firstly - we would like to thank the following members of this year’s team, who have kindly offered their time and energy to continue for another two years:

  • U17 Women’s manager: Christine Rushworth

  • U17 Women’s lead coach: Avril Hunter

  • U17 Women’s assistant coach: Tom Banister-Fletcher

  • U17 Open manager: Katie Light

  • U20 Women’s lead coach: Ola Kulikowska

  • U20 Open lead coach: Matt Carson

  • U20 Assistant coaches: Alex Walsh, Josh East

EYUC 2023 will have competitions in the Under-20 divisions only. The details are yet to be announced, but we expect the event will take place in the week 5-12 August 2023.

The U17 teams’ next EUF event is in the summer 2024, but we would like to keep these squads running in 2023 so they have more time together ahead of the trials, training and competitions in 2024.

Please see these links for role descriptions of the squad manager, lead coach and assistant coach roles. We are looking for new volunteers to fill the following roles:

  • U20 Women’s Manager

  • U20 Women’s Assistant coach

  • U20 Open Manager

  • U17 Open Lead Coach

  • U17 Open Assistant Coach

We welcome applications from individuals or small groups. Please apply using this form, the deadline is Thursday 15th December.
