GB Junior 2021/2022 Trials Application
Players who would like to trial for the GB U20 and GB U17 teams in 2021/22 should complete the application forms below. The U20 squads will be attending the WJUC 2022 championships and the U17 squads will be preparing for the EUF EYUC 2022 (exact tournament dates and location still tbc).
Trials
At this stage we do not yet have set plans for the individual team trials, times, dates and locations tbc. Right now we are gathering information from players interested in trialling and we will release details about the trials process once we have that information.
U20 WJUC Dominican Republic August 6-13 2022
AGE REQUIREMENTS: To be eligible to compete in this tournament you MUST BE BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1ST 2003
ESTIMATED COSTS:
For the WJUC event £2500
Training costs for the season £120-180
Kit costs for tournament £150
VENUE AND DATES: August 6-13 2022, Dominican Republic.
TRAVEL: The squad will travel out a few days before the tournament & return the day after.

U17 EYUC Tournament Dates and Location TBC
AGE REQUIREMENTS:To be eligible to trial for either GB U17 Open Or GB U17 Women’s team heading to this tournament you MUST BE BORN ON OR AFTER JAN 2006 AND MUST BE IN AT LEAST YEAR 8 OR ABOVE.
VENUE AND DATES - This is still to be finalised by EUF, who have indicated that their prefered week for the event is July 30 - August 6 2022. We assume that there is a reasonable chance that the tournament may well be awarded to one of the cancelled Youth events from 2020 or 2021, which were set to be hosted in Austria or Sweden. As soon as we know the destination and dates we will communicate this to parents and players.
TRAVEL: At present the plan is for the team to travel out to the tournament & return home by a Team GB Luxury Coach.

Whilst we always strive to keep costs as low as possible without compromising the health, wellbeing & safety of either the players and staff attending the tournaments - this year, post covid has seen a rise in some cost, hence the higher than usual costs. We will continue to work to keep costs as low as possible, so please do note that the estimates above are just that, estimates and final costs may differ slightly..
