UKU Club Nationals and Division 2 Nationals 2024 Draft Schedules Available
The draft schedules for UKU Club Nationals and Division 2 Nationals 2024, taking place this weekend (6-7 July), are now available.
Please bear in mind that the schedule remains subject to change if teams are forced to withdraw, and if their withdrawal has a substantial impact on the schedule for one or more other teams.
Information for participants (the “info pack”) are on the event pages: UKU Club Nationals and Division 2 Nationals 2024. Please note that there is no parking available at Highfields this weekend. All Club Nationals players should park at the Beeston Hockey Club next door. No dogs are allowed on either site.
Seeding Information
Division 1
Women’s
In line with the consultation with teams earlier in 2024 seeding at Nationals is based primarily on the results from EUF Spring Tour.
Mixed + Open
There are a number of changes in these divisions in comparison with 2023. The division size has been reduced to 8 teams (previously 12) and with no EUCS qualification there are no longer any Irish teams attending the event. As a result we now have only two pools at Nationals, made up of teams qualifying from two regions. As a result the Competitions Committee decided to assign teams by region so that the two pools are [S1,N2,S3,N4] and [N1,S2,N3,S4].
Division 2
Mixed
With 6 teams entered the tournament will use a 6 team round robin format. Teams have been seeded based on their regionals finishing position.
Open
With 10 teams (entered the tournament teams were paired (N1, S1) (N2, S2) etc and then allocated into pools to achieve an even regional split i.e Pool A [S1, N2, S3, N4, S5], Pool B [N1, S2, N3, S4, N5].
WhatsApp Groups
This weekend for Nationals, we are asking team captains to join a WhatsApp Community for their tournament so that we can communicate any important announcements to teams throughout the weekend. There is also a score submission chat for Div 2 which we’re asking people to join to share scores with the TDs throughout the weekend. Please be aware that numbers will be visible to all those who join the score submission group and you are therefore under no obligation to join if you do not wish for your personal information to be shared. Numbers are not visible in the community.

Membership
ALL PLAYERS at Regionals need Full UKU Membership. Club admins can check the membership status of your players by logging into JustGo and going to “Club Members”.
Rosters
Rosters are collected via the player fees paid by club administrators (Player Fee Event Link).
All teams need to sign off on their rosters on Saturday morning of the event by coming to the TD desk before your first game.
