Outdoor Season 2025 - Update 2

This is our second update on the 2025 Outdoor season.

You can view the first update here.

The full program of our outdoor events in 2025, including information on venues and dates can be found here. Events will also start to appear on our events calendar, which you can view here.

Regionals

  • A National Qualification event will go ahead at Oxford RFC in the Women’s division, on the same weekend as Regionals in the Mixed and Open divisions.

  • Unfortunately, Windmill have announced that they have significantly moved the dates of their tournament so that it will take place on the same weekend as UKU Regionals. At the point when Windmill made their announcement we had already confirmed our venues for Regionals and a number of other events, making moving to a different weekend pretty challenging, especially with the dates of EUCS Summer Tours,  the timing of EYUC and EMUC, and other UKU tournaments.

UKU Tour Series

  • The UKU Tour Series returns to provide a national ranking competition for ALL teams that want to enter.

  • Rankings will be updated and posted after each event.

  • Players are able to play in BOTH mixed and single-gender divisions.

  • Players are not roster-locked to a team in 2025, although some roster rules are likely to be gradually reintroduced from 2026.

  • Tour Champions will be announced after the final rounds on 28-29 June (Women’s & Open) and 12-13 July (Mixed).

EUCS 2025

  • UKU will be hosting an EUCS Spring Tour in the Women’s division. The event will take place in Leicester on April 26-27.

  • The EUCS Summer Tour taking place in Stirling is being hosted by Alba and Glasgow, with support from UKU.  We encourage all UK-based Mixed & Open teams taking part in EUCS to support the Scottish teams hosting this edition of the EUCS Summer Tour.

Juniors

  • Following on from a consultation with teams, we have decided to keep Junior Outdoor Open Nationals as a one-day event on June 21st, taking place in Leicester, with the U14, U17 and U20 divisions all taking place at this event.

  • We will be adding a Women’s division to this event for the U14, U17 and U20 age groups, subject to demand. If you are interested in entering a Women’s team into this event but think you might struggle to fit into one of these age groups, please contact events@ukultimate.com.
