UK Women’s Ultimate: a new microsite of resources

The UKU Women's Committee are proud to launch a new microsite of resources for playing, competing, recruiting, leading and volunteering - at all levels. It's for players, club leaders, those wanting to host a tournament, those looking to start a team, and those looking for a new team. Whilst it's been put in place particularly to support women playing Ultimate, we want it to be useful for everyone building and working to support women in the Ultimate community, and we hope the content will continue to grow and evolve.

We intend to use this microsite as a hub for Women’s Committee projects and work aimed to support women in Ultimate.

We recognise that not all areas in the UK have the same level of opportunity, but maybe having access to a range of tools will help more women feel empowered to create opportunities where they don't already exist.

If you have questions, suggestions, or are looking for support or signposting to something specific, or if you want to volunteer to help improve this and playing opportunities for women in general, please email womens-committee@ukultimate.com

The UKU Women's Committee exists to champion the interests of women in UK Ultimate, across experience, age, location, competitiveness, and division. The committee undertakes projects and activities that aim to support recruitment and retention of women playing Ultimate in the UK and to support positive experiences for women playing now and in the future. We are always looking for people interested in volunteering time and expertise. Please contact the women’s committee if you would like to apply to join this committee or if you have expertise and time to commit to one of the other UKU sub committees.
