Women’s Hat Events: Yorkshire Hat, 30th April

Hat events are a great way to play more Ultimate. Many players around the UK have limited opportunities to play Women’s Ultimate and we’re keen to find ways to help! You don’t need a team to enter a Hat event - you simply sign up as an individual or with a few friends and get put into a team on the day. It’s a brilliant way to meet players in your area, learn more about other playing opportunities or simply just to have a fun day of Ultimate! You don’t need much experience to get involved.

The UKU Women’s Committee is supporting local organisers to run small-scale Women’s hat events which provide opportunity for women to play locally in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. If you’re a club hoping to recruit more players, you want to support players with the transition from University to Club Ultimate, or you just want more Ultimate on your doorstep - why not run a Hat Event with help from the Women’s Committee.

The next Hat event is on Saturday 30 April, 1 - 4pm, near Sheffield. The event is hosted by Sheffield Steal, but is open to all women in and around the area (or as far as you want to travel!).

Sign up here.

More details about the event here.
