Announcing request for GB Squad Managers 2023

Further to our announcement on 04/03/2022 about GB Squads for 2023, we invite applications for Squad Managers for the following events and squads:

European Ultimate Championship (EUC) - Mixed, Women, Open

European Masters Ultimate Championship (EMUC) - Masters Mixed, Masters Women, Masters Open,

World U24 Ultimate Championships (WU24) - U24 Mixed, U24 Women, U24 Open, U24 Programme Manager

Role Descriptions and Application Forms

WU24s

For the U24 Manager role you can find the role outline here. We invite applications from individuals that would like to put themselves forwards to oversee the U24 programme. This volunteer position is not fixed to the competition cycle, but will be reviewed after 1 year with the potential to extend further.  Applications should be made using this form.

For the U24 Squad Manager roles you can find the role outline here. We invite applications from individuals or small groups* that would like to put themselves forwards to manage one of the GB teams (Mixed, Women's, Men's) through the WU24 cycle.  Applications should be made using this form.

EUC and EMUC

For the EUC and EMUC squads you can find the Squad Manager role outline here. We invite applications from individuals or small groups* that would like to put themselves forwards to manage one of the GB teams. Ideally we’d like to appoint squad managers for both the 2023 European events and the 2024 World Championships, however if you are only interested in managing the squad in 2023 please contact gb.admin@ukultimate.com.

Event Dates and Locations - EMUC, EUC and WU24 2023

The event date and location for EMUC 2023 and WU24 2023 are yet to be announced. We understand that this may provide some challenges for potential applicants for squads at those events. If you are interested in any of those roles but have any concerns about the potential dates/locations please contact gb.admin@ukultimate.com.

The European Ultimate Federation (EUF) has announced that EUC 2023 will be held at the University of Limerick, Ireland. The tournament will take place from Saturday July 15th - Saturday, July 22nd.

World Beach Ultimate Championships 2023

In addition to inviting applications for the above events we also now understand that the World Beach Ultimate Championships (WBUC) 2023 will take place in the USA in autumn 2023. We expect to invite applications to manage those squads later this year.
