Tournaments are back! Outdoor Club Season Update

Entries are open now for the following events this season:

These ranking events are open to all teams. We hope to have sufficient capacity for all teams who want to play at the Tier One events, however there is limited capacity at the Uni Fans event.

Please use the following links to complete entry for your team using JustGo:

Windfarm - Entry Deadline 31/03/2022

YDG - Entry Deadline 18/04/2022

Riverside Uni Fans - Entry Deadline 15/03/2022

Sadly, it is increasingly clear that we will not have all the events that we hoped for in April. To scale up the number, and geographic distribution, of events we want and need to work with more clubs and individuals as organisers and hosts (see below). We will continue to look for venues, but we are still working across all areas to catch up from the impact of the pandemic, and this will be the case for some time yet. If and when we have events in place they will be put in the calendar and announced on the website and in our newsletters.

If you are interested in working with us to run an event on the dates listed below, please get in touch. We suggest in general looking for venues with 4-8 pitches, and assuming that max capacity is 4 teams per pitch and can provide all the information you should need to run a successful event.

2-3 April (X): We are hopeful of running a mixed event in Reading, but it is not confirmed yet. If all goes well we will open entries soon.

Realistically it is unlikely that we will be able to find more venues to put additional events in place with so little time left, but we will help organisers who think they can make it work.

8-9 April (X): Riverside Uni Fans (Mixed). This is a Tier 2 event to be held alongside Uni Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Nationals at Riverside Sports Complex, Nottingham, and entry is now open.

23-24 April (OW): We have no events in place for this weekend yet, and the options we’ve been trying have all fallen through. We can and will support organisers who think they have a viable venue.

14-15 May (OWX): We had previously left this weekend clear, but will now be looking to add tier 2 events on this weekend if possible - probably prioritising the division(s) which have the least play in April.

28-29 May (OW): Nottingham Windfarm (Women’s & Open) entry is now open.

18-19 June (X): We are finalising mixed events in London and Durham and would ideally like to add one or two more in the Midlands/Wales/West of England.

9-10 July (X): Southampton-YDG (Mixed) entry is now open.

23-24 July (OW): We are working on events in Manchester and Reading, which at this stage we think will provide sufficient capacity for all the teams that want to play.

13-14 August (OWX): Regional Playoffs - open to all teams - more details to follow in the coming weeks.

3-4 Sept (OWX): Nationals / EUCR-West (Highfields, Nottingham).

We are in early discussions regarding possible events in the following locations: Carlisle, Leicester, Bristol, London, and are happy to add more. We will announce details for any secured events as we finalise them. Think the season tends to ends too soon? Want to see more events in August-November? We would love to see more events happening in those months too. If you are interested in working with us to run an event on dates we haven’t listed, please get in touch. We can help.

*What does Tier One and Tier Two mean:

Tier One events are either larger-scale and aim to accommodate everyone, or, where places are limited, bids are assigned primarily by strength (accepting that this will be difficult in 2022 due to the lack of ranking data) but are open to all teams to enter.

Tier Two events are smaller and designed to be more local in nature. If they are over subscribed closer teams will be given priority. These are also open to teams of any level.
